As well as being experts in the sport of judo, all Destination staff have experience of teaching children, are qualified in first aid, have been disclosured and are affiliated to JudoScotland (the sport’s national federation). Marc Preston (5th Dan)
Marc was a full time judo competitor whose career ended prematurely through injury. Marc was twice World Cup medallist and Commonwealth Games silver medallist. He was one of the very few Scotsmen to win the British Open. He has been teaching judo for the last 16 years and is still as excited today as he was back then. |

Callum Woods (2nd Dan)
Callum has been a judo player since the age of 6 and an active competitor for over a decade. He has been Scottish junior and senior champion and has gained medals in many major championships. Callum has 5+ years of teaching judo to children – both in this country and overseas. He is a fully qualified JudoScotland club coach. |

Colin Woods (2nd Dan)
Colin has been a Scottish internationalist and was in the squad for the Commonwealth games. He has 5 years coaching experience and 4 years full-time teaching experience. Colin has his national coaching award and is currently part of the JudoScotland coaching support staff. |

Kenny Graham
Kenny has been doing judo since the age of 5 and is a former junior Scottish Champion. He went on to become Scottish University Champion and British University medalist. He was the president of the Scottish University Judo League and is a fully qualified JudoScotland club coach. Kenny joined Destination Judo after studying primary school education. |

Jordan Archibald (1st Kyu) Jordan is our rising star. Marc has personally coached Jordan for 10 years and he has come up through the ranks of the club. He is now working hard to complete his black belt. Watch this space! |

Rodger Bornowski (2nd Dan)
Roger spent 10 years as judo coach at the Edinburgh Club. He has the BJA coaching award and the JudoScotland self defence instructor award. Scottish Veteran Champion. |

Gary Edwards (5th Dan)
Gary is a World Masters, European and Commonwealth Medallist who has been both British and Scottish champion. He is a qualified Judo Scotland Elite coach and currently works with the Scottish cadet judo team in their preparation for the 2008 Olympics and 2010 Commonwealth Games.

Kerrith Brown (4th Dan)
We are also delighted to be able to include Kerrith Brown as one of our guest coaches. Kerrith has an illustrious judo career with many achievements including bronze medallist at the Los Angeles Olympics (1984), bronze medal winner at the European Championships and 5th in the World Championships. |
